IPTV Solutions — common questions
Do I need separate television cabling?
No. That is the advantage of IPTV: distribution uses the structured data network. If the network is not ready, we set out the changes needed before proceeding.
Can the network handle video in every room?
It can, provided it is sized and configured for multicast. We assess that during the survey — it is where most IPTV projects go wrong.
Can I put my hotel brand on the screen?
You can. The portal is personalised with the hotel identity, including a welcome message using the guest’s name.
Can it show the restaurant menu and services?
It can. The portal can include menus, opening times, spa information, room service requests and hotel information channels.
Does it work for internal communication in a company?
It does. Many clients use the same infrastructure for internal channels, training and digital signage in receptions and canteens.
Who manages the content after installation?
Your team. We hand the system over with training, and the management console stays on the client side. We also offer managed content under contract if you prefer.
